Parencentrum lutetiae, specimen from (1), lateral view. Species with transverse folds on the integument (arroweads). Tail projecting beyond foot and base of toes. Stomach content green by zoochlorellae (in contrast to Parencentrum plicatum)and brown by defecation pellets. The rostrum has two light-refracting bodies, the right one is visible here. Species with 4 nuclei in the vitellarium. (1) |
